At La Costa Resort and Spa it is all about the luxury. Thanks to a $140 million
renovation, this spectacular resort hotel is even better that before. Nestled within 400 acres of
coastal foothills and lush gardens and steeped in Spanish Colonial charm, La Costa is the perfect
vacation destination.
Spend some time in the new Spa at La Costa. Indulge in the restorative treatments and
soothing ambiance. Waste the day away on the gorgeous San Diego beach. Treat yourself to a shopping
excursion or simply spend the day exploring. The choice is yours.
If golf is your thing, try your hand on either of the two championship courses. Hosting PGA Tournaments
for over 30 years, playing at La Costa is like playing next to golf's greats. Currently this resort is
home to the World Golf Championships.
The first course at La Costa was designed by famed golf course designer Dick Wilson. Playing The
North Course you will find deepwater hazards, and bunkers around the bend on every shot. Don't get
frustrated though. These same challenges were faced by legendary golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Phil
Mickelson and Tiger Woods.
Also designed by Dick Wilson, The South Course is traditional in its layout. Known for its lush tree
lined fairways and flawless greens. Professional Golfers call the last four holes of La Costa's South
Course: "The Longest Mile in Golf." At 7,004 yards from the back tees, the South Course is long enough
to make good use of your driver but still short enough to test your skill shots.
Whatever it is you decide to do, you will want to come back to La Costa Resort and Spa
for more.
