Sheraton Vistana at World Golf Village

Sheraton Vistana at World Golf Village

Situated in St. Augustine, Florida, World Golf Village offers an environment that not only honors the game of golf, its great players and its values and traditions, but also provides an entertaining and educational experience for golfers and non-golfers from around the world.

Adjacent to the World Golf Hall of Fame, Vistana Resort at World Golf Village is a year-round paradise for anyone who longs for the ultimate Florida getaway!

Overlooking the 17th and 18th holes of the first championship golf course, Vistana's villas are spacious and abound with luxurious touches. Each two-bedroom, two-bath villa comfortably sleeps six to eight people, and has a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining room, a whirlpool bath in the master bedroom, and a washer/dryer.

The Village's first 18-hole course is the Slammer & Squire, named for its legendary course consultants, Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. With its clubhouse just yards from the World Golf Hall of Fame, Slammer & Squire meanders naturally through native flatwoods and hardwood hammocks, and bordering wetland preserves and wildlife habitat. The course is nestled into the existing surroundings so as not to disturb the area's pristine natural setting.

There's never been a course like this one. For the first time in history, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus have paired to create the King & Bear. Working together, these two golfing legends have collaborated on a truly remarkable golf course of unparalleled beauty, challenge and design. There are other championship courses, but there is only one King & Bear. You will long to play the King & Bear not just once, but time and time again. The course features loblolly pines and open meadows on the front nine, while the national beauty of the 200-year old oaks with huge, shady canopies perfectly complement the back nine. The signature feature of the course is placid lakes edged with large coquina rock. These beautiful lakes come back into play on 16 of the 18 holes.
