The only time the Open Championship was played outside mainland Britain was in 1951 when
it was played here at Royal Portrush. A links course of outstanding quality; one which is
requested first by our clients returning to Ireland on a second visit.
This club was founded in 1888. It is overlooked by the ruins of 13th century Dnuluce Castle,
and one of its courses is named after this ruin. This club is famous for the magnificent
turf and superb golf holes, and is on everyone short list of top Irish courses, to visit.
