The Grove Golf Club - London, England

with an outstanding 18-hole golf course, a five-star hotel and spa surrounded in 300 acres of private

St. George's Hill Golf Club - London, England
|
|
St George's Hill is the prettiest of the many heathland courses on the Surrey/Berkshire sand belt and,
in our opinion, one of the very best. In 1911, a local builder came up with an idea to build luxury
fairway-side houses and by chance, Harry Colt was the chosen architect. The course opened in 1913 and is
considered to be Colt's greatest work. The land sweeps and undulates like a rollercoaster, and the
spectacular panorama from the front of the clubhouse, is one of those views that just grabs your attention.

amateur events such as the Senior Open, the English Amateur, the Brabazon Trophy, and the British and

The Berkshire - London, England
|
|
Other than the Berkshire, Sunningdale and Wentworth are the only clubs in the whole of the British Isles
that can boast two heathland golf courses positioned in the top 100. Many people say that there is nothing
better than a day’s golf amongst the forest, heather and springy turf of the Berkshire. The land was once
royal hunting forest and dates back to the reign of Queen Anne. Each hole is played in seclusion, the mature
sycamore, birch, chestnut and pine trees providing majestic fairway tunnels.

West Hill Golf Club - London, England
|
|
Founded in 1910, West Hill has remained virtually untouched ever since. The course is routed in an out
and back fashion across undulating sandy ground. The fairways are lined with pine, birch and of course,
tangly heather. Measuring slightly more than 6,350 yards, West Hill is not long by today's standards, but
with only two par fives and a par of 69, it represents an enjoyable and testing challenge. If it's charm
that you are looking for, then you need look no further than West Hill. This is a truly delightful golf
course.

It is often said how golf resembles the theatre, in that the setting can be so dramatic and there's drama in
every match. Well, we've gone one better and put the two together in a wonderfully theatrical tour de force -
