"We're back and we had a great trip. Ended up getting drawn for the
Old Course and so all worked out. I have two suggestions
for future travelers regarding courses.
One- While the Lundin Links course was fun for me,
it was too tough for the ladies. The long carries to reach some fairways made it less fun for them.
I'd save it for the guys.
Two- We played the North Berwick West and liked
it a lot. The surprise was playing the East course (Glen) on a free day. It is magnificent competing with
any we played on our trip. Conditions were better than the West course, there were spectacular views and well
designed holes. It was cheaper and better. A real gem.
If I returned and played only three courses, it would be Royal Dornoch, Nairn and the Glen course in N.
Berwick."
