The Udny is located in Newburgh Scotland just north of Aberdeen. This outstanding family owned golf hotel is located just yards from the Newburgh golf course and is just 20 minutes from Cruden Bay, possibly the best links golf in the United Kingdom.
 Cruden Bay Golf Links
There never was a links more adapted by nature for a golf course than the fine stretch of ground lying round the Bay of Cruden. So said the editor of Golf Magazine in 1899 and the statement remains true to this day. Cruden Bay may be the finest example of links golf in the United Kingdom.
 Murcar Links Golf Club
In 2005, its reputation is such that Murcar is playing host to: the Scottish Boys Matchplay Championships, pre-tournament qualifying for the Senior British Open and the Grampian/Houston Pro Am. Established in 1909 to the design of Archie Simpson, with later refinements made by the celebrated golf course designer James Braid, Murcar is indeed a Championship links of some renown, in the finest of Scottish traditions.
 The Nairn Golf Club
Nairn is an excellent example of links golf. Situated adjacent to the Firth of Moray in the Scottish Highlands this club hosted the 1999 Walker Cup as well as numerous Scottish and British amateur and professional championships. It is a true test of a golf especially when the wind fills in from the Firth of Moray! Nairn is located just 20 miles from Inverness in the heart of the Highlands. Nairn is conveniently located along the Scotch and Castle trails.
